Empowering Youth Through Skills

On April 30, 2025, Better Hope Community Development TVET Centre proudly hosted a dynamic showcase of student talents in various vocational fields. As part of the BSEES (Basic Skills for Employment and Entrepreneurship Support) project, our students demonstrated hands-on skills in Uunsi (traditional incense-making), Henna art, Mechanics, and Professional Driving—a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and capability.

The event highlighted the importance of vocational training in creating job opportunities and building brighter futures. From intricate Henna patterns to precise mechanical work and disciplined driving techniques, our students proved they are ready to contribute meaningfully to society.

We extend our deepest gratitude to GIRD and GIZ for their continued support in empowering youth through skill development and education. Their partnership plays a vital role in our mission to equip young people with the tools they need for success.

This showcase was more than a demonstration—it was a statement of progress, potential, and the power of education to transform lives. At Better Hope, we remain committed to uplifting communities—one skill, one student, and one opportunity at a time.
